About Robeson & Robeson DDS
The Robeson dental family tradition began back in 1924 when Royal D. Robeson decided to enter dental school at The Ohio State University after graduating from Bethany College in 1922. Dr. Royal Robeson had a long and distinguished career, having served as President of the Stark County Dental Society in 1958 and later awarded posthumously the John W. Wible Award for Distinguished Dental Service in 2002. Dr. Royal Robeson was admired for his excellent dentistry and most notably his exceptional dentures that, incredibly, are still serving some of their wearer's some fifty years later!
Dr. Bruce Robeson followed in his father's footsteps after graduating from Bethany College in 1964 and The Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1968. Dr. Bruce is entering his 44th year of practice, having been awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the American Dental Society in 2002 and the John W. Wible Award for Distinguished Dental Service from the Stark Dental Society in 2004. Dr. Bruce is best known not only for his exceptional work but his service in Honduras with CAMO (Central American Medical Outreach). From 1993-2009 Dr. Bruce made annual trips to help treat the people of Honduras and collect dental equipment for Honduran dentists. Dr. Bruce has retired from the practice in December 2013.
Dr. Kirk Robeson brings the Robeson dental tradition into it's third generation! Dr. Kirk graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 1990 with a B.A in Psychology and later from The Ohio State School of Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Kirk enters his 15th year of practice having served as a board member of the Stark County Dental society in 2002-2004. Dr. Kirk has brought technology to the forefront of Robeson & Robeson with the new state of the art facility and specialized equipment ranging from digital radiographs to dental lasers, intra-oral camera's, endodontic equipment and much more.
As if three generations isn't enough, Dr. Kirk's wife Dr. Meredith Robeson has added to the family tradition! Dr. Meredith graduated from Otterbein College in 1995 with a B.S. in Life Science Studies and later from The Ohio State School of Dentistry in 1999. Dr. Meredith joined the practice in 2002 and has specialized in treating younger patients as she is excellent with children.
But the tradition doesn't stop there! Dr. Kirk's sister Dr. Kimberly Kron is also a third generation dentist and continues the dental bloodline with her husband Dr. Gerald Kron. Both having graduated from dental school at The Ohio State University, they have started their own private practice in Massillon, Ohio.
